Brenden

Brenden

I’m Brenden! I was pulled from the shelter after TLP heard I had been hit by a car! I had reconstructive surgery done to fix the fractures in my jaw. I’m getting healthy for my foster mom, who might have decided to let me stay FUREVER!

Lyric and Clark

Lyric and Clark

Hey World! We’re “The Littles”, aka Lyric and Clark! We were found as strays in San Antonio. TLP took one look and just knew we were meant to be. We’re getting medically fixed up because we were mangy and Clark needs surgery on his eyes. Our perfect furever home is out there, and has room for both of us – we just know it!

Cooper

Cooper

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s SUPER COOPER! I was rescued from a shelter after they submitted a plea for help. The cause of my facial injury is unknown. TLP made a mad dash to the shelter, and took me to meet the awesome people at Mercy Animal Clinic, in Garland TX. I’m now all healed up and ready for my furever home!

Batman

Batman

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na Batman!

Hey there! I’m Batman. I heard a rumor that if I went to the right house, someone would save me. I was right! When I showed up at their back door, I just knew they would call The Love Pit. Aften picked me up and rushed me to Mercy Animal Clinic. I haven’t eaten in a long time, and I can’t stand very well. I’m really weak. But I know that I’m in good hands now. They’ll get me checked out, feed me really good food, and give me the snuggles that I haven’t had for a long time.

Panther

Panther

I’m Panther! I lost part of my leg when I got tangled in wire and a dog house fell on top of me. Some great kids found me and contacted TLP to save me! I’ve had surgery to properly amputate the rest of my leg. Now I’m recovering in the Rescue Director’s home! She’s been a great foster mom!

Along with our severe medical need dogs, we do have others with minor medical needs, like heartworms and mange. If you would like to donate to our general fund, we greatly appreciate it!
