Update January 8, 2021
Only two of the litter survived, but they are getting stronger and gaining weight every day.
They are still teeny – their eyes aren’t even open yet! – but they are strong fighters.
We are hopeful they’ll pull through.
We are so grateful to DFW Rescue Me for all of the time, support and resources they gave TLP and Merry’s precious pups. Thank you again to all our supporters and partners who donated! All of the funds and supplies we collected that were not used by this litter will go toward current and future TLP litters.

Update December 29th, 2020
We wish we had better news to share, but we lost two more puppies since our last update. (This is an old pic.) The five remaining are about 8oz each, but they have been the strongest fighters from the start. They have been on oxygen, in the incubator, received Sub Q fluids
and are being tube fed.
We are so thankful for the commitment from our incredible fosters and the assistance from our experienced rescue partners. We are beyond grateful for all of the donations, supplies and prayers we’ve received from our pit bull family.
Our five tiny fighters are doing their best to survive, and we won’t give up. If you can, please support their journey by donating or sending supplies. Everything – and we mean everything – helps.

Merry went into labor on Christmas Eve and was rushed to the ER with unexpected labor complications. The vet performed a C-section to deliver Merry’s pups, but Merry’s condition declined into critical. Despite the blood and plasma transfusions she was given, Merry passed away on Christmas Day.
Merry was a sweet and brave girl, and we are heartbroken for her and her puppies. We are doing all we can for her tiny newborns. They’re currently being tube fed and will be transitioned to being bottle fed. We are thankful for the experienced rescue partners who stepped up to support TLP with feedings and equipment to help these puppies thrive. The litter will be split up into groups when they are ready for transport and cared for in experienced foster homes.
Things have been unbelievably tough lately. We’ve had several medical emergencies and devastating losses. Help us with funds for formula, bottle feeding supplies and extra incubators to give these babies their best chance to survive without mama.
