WE’RE HERE TO HELPAt TLP, we realize circumstances arise that make it difficult to provide for your furry family member. Whether you're facing an illness or another life-altering obstacle, we're here to help you do right by your dog.
When you participate in our iREHOME program, we advertise your dog on TLP's website and social media platforms, as well as websites like Adopt-A-Pet.com. Anyone interested in adopting your dog will complete TLP's adoption application and follow the same process we use to vet all of TLP's potential adopters. You’ll receive all approved applications from our team & with our guidance, you'll choose your dog’s new home. Alternatively, we'll provide all the training & medical resources we can, in an effort to help you keep your four-legged best friend forever. |
HOW IT WORKS:
STEP 1: apply to rehome your dog
Complete the iREHOME application. Our coordinators will contact you within 48 hours!
STEP 2: Submit Proof Of Vetting, photos, & bio
Submit proof that your dog is altered, current on Rabies, DA2PP, and Bordatella vaccines, and has been tested for heartworm disease within the last 6 months. Provide 3 quality photos of your dog for networking, along with an informative bio! If you'd like assistance with a bio, our team is happy to help!
STEP 3: join us at tlp Events!
When your dog is an approved member of our iRehome program, you can coordinate with our team to attend adoption events hosted by TLP!
STEP 4: Review Adoption Applicants
Congrats! Your dog has received an application! Our team will review applications with you & assist you with vetting applicants to ensure that they are responsible pet owners!
STEP 5: Rehome Your Dog
Now that you’ve found the perfect home, let’s get your dog adopted! We'll provide an adoption contract for you to send to the adopter, and you'll collect an adoption fee. You can choose to donate the fee to TLP if you feel our team was instrumental throughout the rehoming process!
