TLP’s annual CuPit Casino Night was again a HUGE success! The event was held at The Foundation Room at the House of Blues and was a night of glitz, glam and fun, VEGAS style! During this event we handed out our 2018-2019 Rescue Awards.

Before handing out the awards, our President and Founder, Aften, spoke a few words on meeting & rescuing Sweet Pea and the events thereafter that quickly thrust her into rescue work and the start of TLP.

Our Rescue Awards winners were chosen for their excellent service and commitment to help TLP’s cause.

And The Winners Are:

Glass award with the Mercy Animal Clinic as the recipient

Partner Of The Year – Mercy Animal Clinic

Mercy Animal Clinic is not only there for us during normal business hours but also in times of medical emergency and after hours care. They have dropped everything and shown up to help, even opening their doors outside normal business hours. As an organization, we are eternally grateful for their never-ending commitment to helping these pups. Thank you Mercy for always being there.

Glass award with Christine Snape as the recipient

Volunteer Of The Year – Christine Snape

Christine is one of our Co-Medical Directors for TLP. She came to us in 2017 from Miami, Florida where she also volunteered with another rescue/shelter. She helps manage medications, get pups to treatments and makes sure our fosters get what they need to medically care for their fur babies. We could not do what we do, without her. Thank you Christine, for your tireless efforts.

Glass award with Maegan Carlile as the recipent

Foster Of The Year – Maegan Carlile

Maegan has been a part of this organization since before TLP was even an official organization. Aften met her on a discussion board for Dallas Animal Services. Maegan has been with us ever since! During her time, she has fostered 23 dogs! So, Maegan, Thank you.

Please join me in congratulating and thanking this year’s Rescue Award Winners!

Thank you also, to all of our volunteers. TLP could not be as successful as it is without the time and work you put in.
